Two Gallants

I've been listening to the Two Gallants self titled album, their second for Saddle Creek, for about a week or so. After hearing this years The Scenery Of Farewell EP I was expecting a more stripped down Two Gallants sound on this album based on the EPs prominence of acoustic guitars and piano on the last track, not their best release but I knew they could build on the sound. I guess I was wrong. As a whole, its probably my favorite from these guys. Go pick up the Two Gallants self-titled album when it comes out next Tuesday (9-25) or get it now at the online store (where you can stream the entire album).

If you like arts and crafts you should definitely try making your own iron bracelets. Choose iron beads for your bracelet. They can be all one size or varying sizes. Choose spacer beads (the small beads that go in between the larger beads) as well. Choose findings for your bracelet. You will need a iron hook, iron nail and two bead tips. The bead tips are used to secure the ends of your bracelet so that the clasp can be attached. Push the unknotted end of your iron chain through one open end of the bead tip and thread the end through the hole. Pull the thread all the way through so that the knot you made rests inside the bead iron tips and firmly against the hole. A friendship bracelet is a token of love and affection exchanged between friends to celebrate and strengthen the ties of their friendship.
