Ogre You Asshole

I really don't know how I stumbled on this page but I found it and the music in the folder that read "1st demo cd-r". I laughed when I saw the band name "Ogre you asshole". Its a line from Revenge of the Nerds. I kind of panned them as another goofy band then I download a song and went on with my searches. Then the next day I started listening to the song and I like it and went back and downloaded the whole demo cd.

The band is Japanese, they sing in Japanese. That about all I know about them other than they have this one release. Their site is in Japanese but I translated it and got this much more;

Recording data:
March of 2004 1st - on the 3rd, the star and the rainbow recording studio (Yamanasi prefecture Kobuchizawa) being similar, you record

Member
Coming out door study (guitar and vocal)
Horse deep water Hiroshi (guitar)
Flat coming out correcting/rule person (base)
The west new it is thick (drum)

I just love these language translations.

This is great quality for a 1st demo released just on CD-R. They have some ties with K Records, I think they tour with artists on the label or are releasing in the Japanese affiliate. One song called Either Right Brain is so Sea and Cake instrumental wise. But the rest is just, I guess a Japanese take on American Indie. I like it.

1st Demo
Ogre You Asshole - Kaisentou
Ogre You Asshole - Tights of Purple
Ogre You Asshole - Either Right Brain
Ogre You Asshole -(Something In Japanese)
Ogre You Asshole - Lobotomy

I also first heard OYA's music through that weird site. Since then I've dled their entire disco, and I must say that their latest album was one of the best in 2007. ^^ Btw, you probably already know this, but track 4 (something in Japanese) is "Rousoku" or Candle.

yui-kun, where did you find their music, the only thing that I could get a hold of was that one release which i believe to be a demo release.
