HSH
I was bumping around on the net and found out that Her Space Holiday has a new album out called The Past Presents the Future out on Wichita. I went to the HSH site and found three songs but I can't find my headphones to give them a listen.
After living in Austin for nearly three years, Marc Bianchi moved into a little house in the middle of nowhere in Northern California and began recording this release. In extreme isolation and creative re-evaluation, the content of Her Space Holiday's sound and meaning became much broader than previous works. Short stories starring characters have replaced short-sided, one person perspectives. Rather than feeling like you're looking into the life of one songwriter, the listener walks away with a sense of getting a deeper glimpse into the world around them. ---Amazon.com

Built to Spill sounds like a jam band live.

i love a couple of towns away from where supposed "middle of nowhere" in northern california is...its right in between san francisco, san jose, and santa cruz. So yeah, not really middle of nowhere. Stupid amazon.
