Outer Banks

Last night I lay down to catch a little television and I feel asleep really early then woke up at 5a and tried to go to sleep. I gave up a little before 7a and declared it a new day. That is how I celebrate the end to my 3 week semester by sleeping earlier than I ever have since ....ever. So far I drove around randomly, went to a park, listened to some tunes and downloaded tried to download some music.

I found Punk-O-Rama 10 to download and I said why not, I don't listen to that much "punk" anymore, I should wet my ears. Damn has punk gone down the drain. Atleast in the Epitaph side of things. I haven't skipped over that many tracks on one release ever before. There are three good tracks out of 26 all three hip hop. I put one on the list because the lyrics make me laugh. "I'm here to laugh, love, fuck and drink liquor". The track sounds so G-Funk, you know the sound of Dr. Dre's first album.

I missed LCD Soundsystem on Letterman but damn what a performance. Yes the lovely internet has got my back check it out here. They played a shorter version of daft punk is playing at my home. It sounds great live, pure partying music.


Album Leaf - Outer Banks This is my favorite song of his Sub Pop debut In A Safe Place. I tried to record this on my phone when I saw them live but my phone doesn't record too well. Great show though.

Sneaker Pimps - Six Underground Great song, great band name, great voice. What else do you want!

Right Said Fred - I'm Too Sexy This is my lame song of the day post, I want you to download this, burn it on a cd, take it to your car, put all your windows down, and drive around town with this on high volume. I'm sorry I'm not cool enough to do it so I want to see other people doing it.

Coheed and Cambria - The Second Stage Turbine Blade I know one person who reads this will appreciate this album.

Karate Kid - OST Oh yes, this is the album you didn't know you wanted but you know you do. First it starts with, "maybe I'll listen to one track", then the next thing you know you have it on full blast singing your the best around. If anyone dogs this album I will fight you, that is no lie.


This cd cover shows the scene right after Mr. Miyagi confesses his love for Daniel son and they move close for the climax of the film, their first kiss.
