Crash

My favorite browser is down damn it. I'm on Netscape after Firefox failed me, it doesn't connect to anything. I'll be damned if I use IE, thats just a virus/spyware/adware/pop-up/lag waiting to happen. I'm not all mad about the product because I jacked with it myself its just how to fix it is what's concerning me now. I think the cause is that I installed all these extension I never would of used. It all started with me wanting to run an anonymizer with multiple proxys, easily switchable, which intern would show my IP as different everytime I veiwed rapidshare under each different proxy. Rapidshare only allows one download an hour and when an album is in two parts it's frustrating, with this I could of gotten by that problem. Firefox has this extension to switch proxys, I went to download that and I found so much that I didn't need so I started pilling them on and bam hours later, crash. I should of stuck to the way things were working. Me and my stupid proxy crap, I used to do this in middle school and I thought I was all bad ass but look where it got me now. Netscape how lame is this, at least I got firefox not to crash anymore.

We Looked Like Giants

I am very content with my tunes. There is nothing I want badly that I know of other than that Pavement Reissue but thats just one. The last thing I really wanted was the new Death Cab EP and allas I got it and I'm listening to it as I type this. Its a live EP and doesn't sound bad, I saw them live in 2002 in the Death & Dismemberment tour with the Dismemberment Plan, it was a nice show, especially the plan. I wouldn't of gone but my friend was insisting we drive 3 and a half hours on a Wednesday for it then drive back. The same year I drove 9hrs in one day to see Belle & Sebastian. Both of which I made it back later than late and went to my morning classes like a champ. Other than that I've been jaming the Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, 13 and God, early Trail Of Dead, V.I.S.E!!, Minus Story and the new Stephen Malkmus album, all very good... well they all have good tracks.

Panda Panda Panda

I'm so lazy and I don't ever feel like putting pictures up on my pictures page I managed 3, then the html code started making me mad so I stopped before I did any damage. I use my flikr account just as a storage not an album but I might just create two accounts and have one as an album and one as a storage. When I say storage I mean the retarded pictures I put up like the one below that don't belong to me but I need to store somewhere to host it on this page. A benifit of the Flikr album is people can comment on each picture if they wanted to. I never noticed the comments since I have all the pictures set as private for the most part but there was that small window where they weren't and I got few including;

"Like the 'Rolling Stone' wallpaper. Nice tiara too "

Refering to the manly tiara I was wearing and rolling stones living room wallpaper. I like the quote though just because I don't think anyone in history has ever said those words in that order.

Don't expect anything soon though concerning the flikr page because as history shows, I'm pretty lazy.

Now you know

Such a nice relaxing weekend. I got some pictures to put up but school work comes first so wait for that mess to surface sometime soon. Other than that I've been enjoying the sounds of the Flaming Lips and Doug Martsch.

MJ Update

I was just getting my daily update on this Michael Jackson trail that seems more entertaining everyday I watch. There's always something going on. Yesterday a fan started yelling something in the court room and then fainted. Today MJ's lawyer got taken away in a stretcher. This would be an entertaining reality television show. Think of the ratings, few little things like this could help revive our slowly dyeing social security program. Today the court determined that MJs computer porn couldn't be used but his magazines could be used and they heard from his personal magician. Yea you read correctly his personal magician, Majestik Magnificent. I'm rooting for him to be innocent but not found "not guilty". If he did it, he deserves his punishment but you know this kids family is after money. I'm pretty sure that's their prime motivation, not justice. After all this I'm sure MJ won't be inviting little kids over anymore. Why can't everyone leave him alone.

Pencil Rot

Me and Ryan are still kicking this idea around for a site for drawings and such. I have a few already and I drew a cool picture of a cyclopes with a lollipop yesterday. If anyone else wants to contribute and drawings, art, comics feel free to say something. I even have my scanner with me now.

Check out the new weezer single, beverly hills. What do you think?

emergency & i

I don't know what happen but I think my plan of "I'm not going to file a complaint about the internet because someone else will" actually happen. Right when it kicked up I downloaded a hefty bounty of 5 albums in 20 minutes. I had them queued in my head. Its still going on and off but now I have speed, about 550kb/sec for Milk-Eyed Mender which is something I wanted to download for sometime now.

Things I Don't Remember

My Spring Break is coming to a close tonight and tomorrow its back to the numbing life of school. I had this eye twitch the week right before spring break when I had few exams and a presentation but after the break started it went away. I guess I can work on getting that back now that school will start back up Monday. Now that I think back about the break it seems a lot longer than a week, I didn't do anything big but I did do a lot of small things. Good times indeed. Yesterday we celebrated the last night of Spring break much like how we started the break, completely trashed. I just remember trying to walk straight in the middle of now where in West Denton and stumbling around. I'm pretty sure its the lowest area in Denton and I've seen it closed many times because of flooding. Its surrounded by miles of woods and a creek runs right through the middle of it so its always nice and cool. I need a video camera to document these nights.

Tea Massacre

We had a nice rememberance of Thursday from Ryans video camera, filmed by him then me after he got too trashed. A nice drunken time with just the 4307 underground. Fun times that ended with this;

hey hows it going, it drunk

why are you taking pictures?

fuck this im passing out

its kind of like a 45 second time line

Tactics

Drank a few last night in honor of Ryans acceptance into the Comm Design program and I'm ready for tonights St. Patricks day celebration which involves few more drinks. Tonights activities will take place in a Haileys while watching The Album Leaf play. Then I shall come home and maybe cut my hair, shave this scraggle and then look all nice and presentable enough to apply for a job tomorrow. I love these lazy Spring Break days, its like one big weekend.

March days

Forty-five degrees isn't what spring break is suppose to be. Its so cold outside I don't feel like getting out of the house. Yesterday though I did stop by some of my old stomping grounds, nothing that cool though, drove around my town and went to some stores and a shaved ice stand. I finally managed to get my car inspected and passed. I had to think this one carefully and remember the history of each place to see which will pass me with a fogged out headlight and I guessed right. The same exact one that passed my dad with the same thing. So I finally got that and it only took me 2 and a half months after expiration.

I'm feeling lazy but I'm pretty sure I'll still go see Marbles play tomorrow and I'm very sure that I'll see The Album Leaf play Thursday with Ryan and whoever else is around town. I was right about to make another webpage of stupid drawings that I mostly do in class and some that I do at home just so I won't lose them but do I need webpage # 7? Maybe I can just scrap one and redo it as this. I don't really want it just to be me though, I kind of want it to be a collective so there's more variety. How many drawings of fruit/vegetable people can a person take? Maybe some animations that I did a while back and some photoshop drawings can be thrown in. I should take my scanner with me for this endeavor. I wish I had more space in my room, I can't think of where I can place a flat bed scanner.

42.5 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot

Check out this cool game, its called frozen bubble and it kind of works like tetris.

This text-to-speak demo is pretty entertaining for few minutes.

Well I'm off to my parents place for few days.

A Sun Came

I have one more class then Spring Break. No big plans, maybe catch a show or two. I went home today right after my Mid-term for a dentist appointment and was in there for 10 mins after the 1hr+ driving and all of a sudden because I had a screw put into my knee 5 months ago I couldn't get my teeth cleaned unless the called my doctor. I tried to tell them it desolved already but they wouldn't have it. So Dr. Taba was called and he was off in a convention so I have to reschedule. I would of said something but I smiled and said its alright we can make another appointment just because my dentist is kind of a family friend and they know a lot of my family. Any way I washed my car and ate some lunch and hung out with my mom and then my little cousins came by and they told me about the zoo. After the carwash my car is all nice and shiny, its been about half a year since shes been washed. I used to wash my car atleast 2x a month when I first got it now 6 years later I can go a year without a wash. My how time has changed.

On my way back I saw this really bad wreck, the driver of one car couldn't of survived, the car was completely smashed in from the drivers door and flipped of the road upside down. I've seen more aftermaths of some really bad wrecks than usual. It kind of makes you callus towards it, then you start to think someone died right there few minutes ago.

A fake Jamaican took every last dime

I got this test coming up tomorrow and it very very very hard. Sociology 4870 - Research & Methodology. The shit part about it is that I think I know just a little less about the course content than the instructor. You can sense a bad teacher the first day of class and I usually get out of there fast but I need this class and so here I sit. Maybe I should go study since my internet connect is being stupid as always. If it wasn't for my computer I would already have been half way done studying. I hope its not too windy to ride ma bike.

Milk-Eyed Mender

Pretty good weekend. Along with the crazyness I filmed two short (30 secs the other 60 secs) videos. Pretty crazy stuff filmed late into the night, way up there in the am with soberity no where to be found. One was a test the other was a nice how to instructional video staring Jason. Both having no sound since I filmed them on my digital camera. Maybe I can have a nice series and maybe even add some music in the background.

Saturday, March 05, 2005

I haven't posted as much because the internet always slows down and I won't be able to post after all that typing and what not. Its pretty lame but what can I do. Not much going on in my neck of the woods, I played some pool last night and won for the first time and once again right after. Most of it was by default but its a start. I think. Pretty good night though.

Im not worth that much at human for sale but what can I do. Also I couldn't recreate my face at Flash Face but some of the other peoples creations are cool.

Peach, Plum, Pear

I just finished my first mid-term of this semester, I guess I did alright. I didn't really study because I couldn't study for a class that is so damn easy. Anyway I'm sitting around battling this mild cold with some vitamins and Feng You Jing and some Joanna Newsome. Its funny how you can not like a song at all but at that right moment it plays and it clicks and its on repeat for half a day.

here is the ole living room

and here is some more pictures of weirdos, places and objects. Updated the links and brought them forward on the side panel.
